Seraphima Running Into Form
On her last outing she was not beaten far in a reasonable time for the grade, her fourth good performance in a row at the minimum trip.
Seraphima is by no means the best sprinter in the world but she’s strung a series of good performances together and that might be enough to win a poor race like the 6.45 Wolverhampton.
Last time out she was only beaten 0.75 lengths by Secret Millionaire, another in-form horse and clocked a reasonable adjusted speed rating of 49 considering she is rated just 46.
In her last four starts at 5f she has been beaten 1.75-5.25-1.25-0.75 lengths, which represents a decent run of form for a horse with only one victory in 30 starts.
Therein lies the problem, she finds winning difficult, but if she gets a strong pace she can go close at 11/2 (Bet365).
