Scarbrough Stakes Tip: Thesme
Gets a 12lbs pull in the weights with Desert Law and has the early speed to put the race to bed well before the finish line.
It’s not a particularly strong turnout for the Listed Scarbrough Stakes at Doncaster and although Thesme is only rated 100 this is a great opportunity to get some black type and a win.
Lightly raced this season she finished 1.5 lengths behind Desert Law last time out but is 12lbs better off at the weights. She was also slightly unlucky at York, she showed blistering early speed but went a stride too quick means she finished slower than par.
In this small field she could dominate from the front and her speed ratings are up to scratch have hit a mark of 106 last time.
