Sandown Tips: Angel Way
Well drawn and this is easier than the race she won 15 days ago.
The draw always plays a large part in races over 5f at Sandown, where you want to be drawn low, against the far rail.
Angel Way is the best horse in the race and has the added benefit of starting in stall 2 after the defection of Howyadoingnotsobad.
Mike Murphy’s filly is sufficiently lightly raced to still be improving and she’s hit top form since switching to 5f. Last time out she won a 0-85 handicap at Newmarket in convincing fashion and this afternoon she actually takes a drop in class to race in a 0-75 handicap.
With an excellent jockey on board, a good draw, an ease in grade and a stiff track, there’s plenty to like about her chances at 7/2 (Boylesports).
