Sandown Tip: Fantasy Keeper
Earned an adjusted speed rating of 90 at Goodwood and that was without getting the clearest of runs. Has relatively few miles on the clock and a very workable mark.
Fantasy Keeper looks a winner in waiting off a mark of 78, and this lightly raced 5-year-old could rack up a string of victories. Last time at Goodwood he tracked an overly strong pace but he was still travelling with two furlong sto go. Unfortunately Silvestre De Sousa didn’t get a clear run and by the time the gap appeared he was being swamped by the closers.
Considering the way the race panned out, it was a fine performance from Fantasy Keeper and he impressed on the clock. Adjusting for the overly strong pace, he earned an adjusted speed rating of 90 and the form has been franked by the sixth placed horse winning at Windsor on his next start.
A drop back to 5f is a slight concern as is the draw but Fantasy Keeper has plenty of early pace and has run well at the minimum distance before; Sandown’s stiff finish also helps. He should be winning very soon.
