Sandown: Amanda Hug'N'Kiss
Looked green on debut but clocked impressive closing sectional and fast over time in defeat. Has a high ceiling and should improve for the experience.
With rain forecast this evening at Sandown, conditions could deteriorate quite rapidly but I suspect connections will not want to flog Amanda Hug’N'Kiss on ground she doesn’t like.
The 2-year-old looks an exciting prospect. She was very green on debut (slowly away, raced wide on track) but showed a good turn of foot to finish second. The time of the race was impressive and she earned a sectional adjusted rating of 77.
She should easily win a maiden and although this is an above average race, she is an above average filly.
