Rush To Quick Defence

Rush To Quick Defence

Was an early season runner for Sir Michael Stoute and should improve for the outing.

Sir Michael Stoute’s season usefully starts motoring in May and I’d be surprised if he didn’t get a win into Quick Defence very soon.

He ran a good race last month, when finishing 0.25 lengths behind Putting Green. The first two pulled well clear of the third placed horse and Quick Defence probably lost by letting the winner get first run.

The race was run at a steady pace (109.9% finishing speed) but Quick Defence came home in a sprightly 22.6s, despite the track riding slower than during the winter.

Ryan Moore is booked for the ride and he will prove difficult to beat.
