Symbolize was Andrew Balding’s first juvenile winner of 2019 and he looks a smart prospect. He tracked a solid gallop on debut at Salisbury and quickened in the final 3.25f, normally the sign of a good horse. His closing sectional was the fastest by 0.56s and what was already a good time gets upgraded to an adjusted speed rating of 88.
That kind of rating puts him in Royal Ascot territory and here he is. Visually he was impressive, as if there was plenty more to come and if he handles conditions he should go well.
