Royal Ascot Tips: Tatlisu
Has an excellent strike rate for a sprint handicapper and undone by the draw last time at York.
Richard Fahey is a man to watch in these big sprint handicaps and looks to have a good chance to win the Wokingham (5.00) for the second successive year.
In Tatlisu he has an improving sprinter, who rarely runs a bad race. He’s won 5/25 starts and has hit the frame in 16/25 races, a phenomenal record for a handicapper.
He started the season with a career best at Doncaster but has been foiled by the draw on his last two starts.
At York in particular he was undone by stall 1, racing away from the action (and the pace), he did well to finish fourth.
A strong traveller, he needs to be delivered off a generous gallop which he should get in this big field.
Richard Fahey is playing all his aces with this horse, Ryan More takes the ride and first-time blinkers are applied. At 12/1 (William Hill) he looks a good bet.
