Scottish arrives at Royal Ascot with a solitary maiden win to his name but his performance was so impressive he deserves to be near the top of the betting for the King George V Stakes at 5.35.
Last time out at Newbury he won by 1.75 lengths from Keble, who has gone on to win since but his final sectional really stoodout.
Scottish ran the fourth fastest closing (4f) sectional on a card featuring 109 horses and three 6f sprints including a class 2 handicap.
The 3-year-old holds a potent turn of foot but having led the entire contest on a galloping track he shouldn’t want for stamina either.
