Royal Ascot Tips: Arabian Queen
Suffered with sickness last season but bounced back at Epsom running a comparable race to the Arod in the Diomed Stakes.
Having suffered with sickness since the Cherry Hinton Stakes last year it was a terrific to see Arabian Queen back to her best at Epsom a fortnight ago.
A sinus operation in the close season seems to have done the trick and her performance last time was impressive.
At Epsom she ran an almost identical race (in terms of overall and sectional time) to Arod in the Diomed Stakes on the same card, albeit off a lighter weight.
If we assume Arod is going to be rated around the 120 mark, then Arabian Queen should be in the low 110s and that puts her in the mix with Found and Ervedya.
There always the chance she comes on for the run and at 25/1 (Stan James) she is a good price.
