Earned a huge adjusted speed rating of 101 on debut and still unbeaten at 5f. Mehmas boosted form on Tuesday.
Global Applause has spent most of his young career doing battle with Mehmas and the form got a massive boost on Tuesday after Mehmas finished second to the hugely impressive Caravaggio.
The form line is strong and that is backed up on the clock. On debut Global Applause clocked a sectional adjusted speed rating of 101 and backed that up with a rating of 98 for his win at Sandown.
His one defeat came when tried at 6f but at the minimum trip he is unbeaten and a smart sprinter.
The main dangers are Prince Of Cool and Silver Line who both ran quick times on debut but they will need to improve and hope Global Applause doesn’t.
