Going Solow
Solow is unbeaten in his last six starts and more likely to handle the track than Able Friend.
It is incredibly sporting of the connections of Able Friend to bring him to Royal Ascot but you feel they are onto a hiding to nothing.
He has raced almost exclusively at Sha Tin and the straight mile at Ascot is a completely different prospect.
We have seen foreign raiders flop before with both Animal Kingdom and Gladiatorus getting beaten at short odds.
If Able Friend fails to handle the track, Solow can pick up the pieces. He has won his last six races and is only rated 3lbs inferior to Able Friend on official ratings.
