Ripon Tip: Nameitwhatyoulike
Excellent course record for a horse who is off a workable mark. Fitness a concern but handles cut and can win a nice race.
It’s been a while since Nameitwhatyoulike has been at his best but a mark of 96 is workable for a horse regularly rated in the 100s.
Without a win since 2016, he went very close over course and distance last autumn when second behind Flying Pursuit. He earned a good speed rating in defeat and ignoring his run at York he must have a big chance.
Twice a winner at Ripon with 6 further placed effort from 10 starts the course suits and off a workable mark he is of interest.
