Right Time To Back Madam Midnight
Forgive her flop at Chelmsford and she looks well handicapped. Finished third in a hot maiden, where the first two home are now rated 78 and 80.
Madam Midnight finished 4/4 on her last start at Chelmsford but everything I wrote about her that day still holds true.
I’m happy to forgive a poor run at the Essex track because the track is riding deep and the kickback isn’t to everyone’s liking.
Before that she finished third in a hot maiden at Wolverhampton. She ran a blistering 22.6s final sectional, the fastest in the race and the form has been franked.
The winner Monaleen was runner-up in a class 3 handicap and is now rated 78, whilst the second place horse Subcontinent has won twice since and is rated 80.
If Madam Midnight is of similar ability, and sectionals suggest she is, then she looks a potential winner off 69.
She is currently 20/1 (Bet365) to win the 4.05 Wolverhampton and that is too big.
