Richmond Stakes: Yazaman
Only Tactical has been able to get the better of him in three races to date. Backs up his visually impressive performances with big speed figures and the one to beat.
Yazaman is yet to run a bad race and deserves to win a decent prize. Impressive on debut, he’s only been beaten by one horse and a useful one at that in Tactical. At Royal Ascot he lost the race at the start when squeezed out and although at Newmarket he was beaten fairly he finished ahead of Qaader with no obvious reason the form would turn around.
William Haggas has his string in fine fettle (15/61 in last fortnight) and albeit it an obvious selection Yazaman is the one to beat.
