Record Breaker Tarooq Hard To Beat
Broke the track record in December, is well drawn and difficult to see who will turn around the form.
In December Tarooq won the best all-weather sprint of the winter and he should confirm the form in the 1.45 Lingfield.
The 8-year-old beat four of today’s rivals and although the weights are no longer in his favour, the style of his victory is too hard to ignore; he won by 1.5 lengths and broke the track record.
The 8-year-old has always been a good horse but David Barron seems to have eked out some further improvement. From a good draw in stall 1, he is a worthy favourite and will be hard to beat at 9/2 (Betfred).
