Pleiades Can Star At Sandown
Slightly unlucky last time out when he ran the second fastest sectional but found his path blocked and the trip a touch short.
Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore drew a blank for us at Sandown yesterday but they can bounce back in the 4.55.
So far this season Pleiades has raced in class two and class three company and a step down in grade combined with a step up in trip can see him win.
Last time out at Haydock he was slightly unlucky to finish sixth. Held-up behind a moderate gallop (105.7% finishing speed) he found his path blocked when trying to challenge.
Ryan Moore never got a clear run at the leaders but despite this, Pleiades ran the second fastest closing sectional.
A step up in trip will help him keep close order on the leaders and he’s got the crucial turn of pace needed to win. At 9/1 (Betfred) he is overpriced.
