Earned a big speed rating and a sectional upgrade on his first start for Alan King and potentially more to come.
Oceane is an interesting recruit to the Alan King yard and is the type of horse who could spring a surprise at 9/1 (Skybet) in the 5.05 Ascot.
As a 2-year-old he raced at a moderate level in France, winning once in four starts but he looked a useful horse on his UK debut at Salisbury.
In a race that favoured those ridden prominently, he did well to come from off the pace to finish third. He ran the fastest closing sectional of the race and earned a good speed rating for the grade.
The second place horse has come out and won again since and Oceane might be underestimated off a mark of 88 albeit it in a competitive race.
