Nottingham Tip: Polyphony

Has bumped into a couple of in-form horses of late but has run some big speed ratings in defeat. Mark of 71 isn't insurmountable and step up to a mile could yield further improvement.

Polyphony has finished second to a couple of in-form horses of late but she’s not lost anything defeat. Twice she has lost by under a length at Carlisle but both defeats came with good speed ratings and she could score again off a mark in the low 70s.

Her 7f record is 12122 and at Nottingham she steps up to a mile for the first time. Her fast closing sectionals, often after setting the pace, suggest the extra furlong could be withing her sphere and her last three Racing Post Ratings have been 71+.

Jason Hart in the saddle is another positive, he is banging in the winners and has struck up a good relationship with his mount. There are enough positives to make Polyphony a bet at around the 8/1 mark.
