Nottingham: Gabriella's Spirit
Has run well away from soft ground; third at Haydock behind two horses now rated 97 and 102. Sixth placed behind Meredif also reads well; it's a race that has produced plenty of winners.
If you throw out runs on soft ground then Gabriella’s Spirit form is very strong for a horse rated 68. At Haydock she finished 3.5 lengths behind horses now rated 97 & 102 and then finished sixth over course and distance in an incredibly strong maiden.
The winner of that race Meredif is yet to be seen again but that race has produced 7 separate winners and Gabriella’s Spirit did all the donkey work up front (also raced freely). Again it’s hard to gauge if she has trained on but her juvenile form is good enough to win the race.
