Nothing Fishy About Piscean
Has been running well but races haven’t unfolded in his favour; needs a strong pace but could get that today.
Piscean is the type of horse who needs things to drop right – he craves a strong pace and luck in running but he’s got the ability to win the 2.20 Kempton.
In the last two months he’s shown signs of hitting form again. He was not beaten far in two 6f sprints when the leaders didn’t go fast enough for him.
It was a similar story at Lingfield a fortnight ago. The leader slipped the field and made all at an ordinary gallop. Piscean ran the final 2f in a rapid 22.0s (finishing speed 109.5%) but he was left with too much to do as he tried to rally into a quickening gallop.
Expect Piscean to finish strongly and go close to winning at 8/1 (Bet365).
