Noble Deed At Lingfield

Not beaten far on his last two starts despite not getting the strong gallop he needs.

Perfect Pasture is the most likely winner, having tasted victory in his last six outings but this will be his toughest task to date, carrying top weight in a strong handicap.

The value in the race is elsewhere and Noble Deed is overpriced on recent performances.

He’s finished third and sixth on his last two starts over course and distance but he’s never been beaten by more than 3 lengths and hasn’t enjoyed much luck.

On his last run he was squeezed out at the start, lost position and then had to race very wide as the winner got first run on him.

It was a similar story two starts back, when he wasn’t suited by the moderate gallop. Nevertheless, he has been finishing his races strongly and if they go a good gallop, he might be able to recapture the winning form he showed as a 3-year-old.
