Newmarket Tips: Tadleel
Didn't get the run of the race when beaten a nose by Maksab two runs back. Worse off at the weights but impressive winner at Kempton.
Tadleel has a rematch with Maksab in the 2.35 Newmarket and after going down by a nose last time he can gain his revenge. On ratings life is tougher for Ed Dunlop’s colt because he is 7lbs worse off but he was unlucky on their last meeting.
The hood was removed late on Tadleel and he was then trapped wide behind a pedestrian gallop whilst Maksab got first run. Under the circumstances he did well to almost reel in the leader, clocking the fastest closing sectional by 0.21s.
He backed up that performance by winning at Kempton in a fast time for the grade and he can win again.
