Newmarket Tips: Santefisio
Has run a series of good races and an unlucky fourth in a valuable Newbury handicap when he didn’t get a clear run.
Santefisio has run three good races in a row and with his mark largely unchanged, he can win the 3.35 Newmarket.
Last time out he was only beaten 3.25 lengths in a valuable Newbury handicap despite suffering a luckless run in the final furlong. He would have gone close with a clear passage.
On his penultimate start at Wolverhampton he finished 5th but came out best by half a length when adjusting for sectionals. The sharp track and steady pace didn’t play to his strengths but he showed his customary turn of foot.
