Newmarket Tip: Right Action

Set an overly strong pace on soft ground at York last time but still did very well to finish fourth. Can win off the mark and conditions more appropriate.

Right Action has a good strike rate of 6/36 and is usually competitive off a mark in the low 80s. He is already a winner this season and finished a fine fourth at York last time out. A combination of a big field and soft ground, meant that he ended up going a stride to quick and setting the race up for closers. His finishing speed was 94.8% of his overall speed and is indicative of a horse tiring after setting too strong a pace.

Considering the way the race panned out he did very well to finish fourth and earned a sectional adjusted speed rating of 91. On better ground and in a smaller field, he might be able to dominate and make all.
