Newmarket Tip: Left Alone
Beaten by wide draw last time but run 34th fastest closing sectional at the track and best in the race by 0.76s.
Last time out at Kempton, Left Alone was held-up from a wide raw but found herself in a hopeless position as the winner set modest early fractions and made all.
Rather than switch his mount wide, James Doyle waiting patiently in rear for the cut-away but by the time he started his run the leaders weren’t coming back. Left Alone was accelerating into a quickening pace and despite running a rapid 33.88s closing sectional couldn’t quite reel in the winner.
Left Alone’s closing sectional was 0.76s faster than anything else in the race and 34th fastest from the last 8680 runners at the track. She was beaten by the draw but has plenty of ability.
