Newmarket: Blue De Vega

With a strike-rate of 3/40 on turf there is a danger of following Blue De Vega to the poor house but i’m giving him another go. He races off a career low mark of 83 and has been in decent form of late.

Last time out he finished fourth at Sandown in a race run in a good time and he also clocked a fair speed rating when third at Haydock. He was slightly disappointing in-between at Windsor but he was posted wider than ideal.

Connections have opted to remove the headgear for this run, perhaps out of frustration or maybe there is a plan? I still believe there are some nice 5f sprints to be won with this horse and i’m happy to pay and find out.
