Newcastle Tip: Manatee Bay

Manatee Bay didn’t pull up many trees when we tipped him three weeks ago but the handicap has dropped him 5lbs for a 7.25 length defeat and that has tempted me in again.

The 7-year-old blotted his copy book with a poor run but he did a lot of the donkey work on the far side and set the race up for those off the pace. His course and distance record now reads 23167 but he won just three starts back so it’s not like he’s hopelessly out of form.
