Newcastle Tip: Hilary J
Looked like a useful sprinter at the start of the year. Slightly lost her way but races off a generous looking handicap mark.
Hilary J started the flat season racing in class 3 company and I thought she might have a big handicap in here. A close fourth at York in June saw her earn an impressive adjusted speed rating of 92 but she’s failed to build on it since.
She’s not been over-raced, this only her sixth start of the year and the handicapper has given her a real chance off 74. Last time out at Beverley she was beaten by the draw but she’s got plenty of early pace and is a big player on her early season form.
