Ran a big speed figure on debut in what looked a good quality Newbury novice. Nothing comes even close on form.
Neptunian arrives at Newcastle with the best form in the book and should prove hard to beat. On debut he clocked an adjusted speed figure of 71 and was upsides a horse who has since placed at Listed level.
You would expect Martyn Meade’s juvenile to come on for the run and he was perhaps the unluckiest of the leading quintet as he came widest of all with his finishing burst.
