Never won on return from a break; second place at Southwell therefore reads well because he is a horse who carries plenty of condition. Tumbled down handicap and new yard could get that win.
Eeh Bah Gum hasn’t won since 2018 but he’s tumbled down the handicap and now hit a level where he can be competitive again. Last time out he finished second at Southwell but the speed rating of 57 is usually good enough to go close in this grade.
That was his first run in 146-days and he’s never won off a break before, understandable when you see him; he is a huge horse. He’s the type of horse who will ‘strip fitter’ for the run and having onyl recently moved to Kevin Ryan there is plenty of scope for optimism.
