Musselburgh Tips: Faithful Promise
Bumped into a useful horse at Ripon but pulled well clear of the third and ran a good speed rating for a 2yo.
Mark Johnston has a 23% strike rate (16-70) with his juveniles at Musselburgh over the past five seasons and he should be able to add to that tally with Faithful Promise in the 2.30 contest.
Last time out she bumped into the useful Capla Dancer with the pair pulling 3.5 lengths clear of the third horse.
Faithful Promise quickened well of a steady pace and earned an impressive adjusted speed rating of 85. She was unfortunate to bump into a good horse last time but this looks much weaker on paper.
