Musselburgh Tip: Thesme
Has excellent early speed and suited by the track. Finished second over course and distance in a Scottish Sprint Cup.
Thesme has blinding early speed and Musselburgh’s sharp 5f will play to his strengths. The one and only time he’s raced at the track he finished second in the Scottish Sprint Cup and on paper this is no more difficult. There is nothing rated higher than 100 and off 99, Thesme is fairly well treated.
Three starts back he showed bright early pace at York before tiring over the extended 5f89yds trip. He’s been below par since but in hotter races. This looks within his scope.
