Lingfield Tips: Triple Star
Has a decent sprint finish for this level and was unlucky to bump into an unexposed horse last time.
Triple Star didn’t run a particularly fast time in defeat 15 days ago but the way the race unfolded wasn’t conducive to quick times.
The leaders crawled through the first 7f and the race developed into a sprint for the line.
Triple Star was held-up in rear when the pace quickened but showed an impressive turn of foot to run the final 2f in 22.8s and was only beaten a neck by the unexposed Moulin Rouge.
She takes a step up in trip this afternoon but with no obvious pace in the race her stamina is unlikely to be tested and Hayley Turner can put her speed to good use.
Triple Star won two starts back and I fancy Hughie Morrison can improve her moderate rating.
