Lingfield Tips: Time To Study
Eye-catching winner on debut at Carlisle. Won easily from the front and after adjusting for pace e gets a big speed rating for a two-year-old.
A small but select group line up for the 11.45 Lingfield and Time To Study looks potentially smart. Related to several good horses including Group 1 winner Dedication he was mightily impressive on debut.
A small maiden in Carlisle might not look much on paper but Time To Study dominated proceedings. They didn’t go especially fast early on (finishing speed quicker than par) but Franny Norton slowly wound things up from the front.
Time To Study eventually accelerated away from his rivals to win by 2.75 lengths. The time wasn’t anything special but after adjusting for pace I gave him a speed rating of 98, impressive for a two-year-old on debut.
