Lingfield Tips: Temple Road
Shaped encouragingly on last two starts after returning from a summer break. George Baker aboard and primed for a big run.
Temple Road looks a winner in waiting and back at his favourite track he can take the 3.45 Lingfield.
The 8-year-old has slipped down the handicap during 2016 and off a mark of 60 he should capitalise very soon. When racing in class 5/6 handicaps over course and distance his record is 1113245 the most recent of those coming off a five-month break.
A spin around Wolverhampton last week should have put him spot on, he ran the second fastest closing sectional and now is the time to pile in. George Baker’s record on the horse over course and distance is 14 and there was strong support for the pair in July.
Stall 6 is workable and with Roy’s Legacy the likely pace-setter, Temple Road can swoop late and take the win.
