Lingfield Tips: Sans Souci Bay
Earned a sectional adjusted speed rating of 83 last time which should keep him competitive despite the rise in grade.
Richard Hannon has been in cracking form this autumn enjoying an 18% strike rate (18-98) from October to December on the all-weather and generating a level stakes profit in each of the three months.
Sans Souci Bay is one of the horses who has shown improvement on an artificial surface. Last time out he finished half a length behind the Godolphin horse Hersigh and ran well in defeat.
Tina Smith managed to bag a reasonable position from a wide draw but it still meant the winner got first run.
There was not much Sans Souci Bay could do about it but he ran the fastest closing sectional by 0.23s and didn’t get the clearest of runs up the inside rail.
In defeat, he earned a sectional adjusted speed rating of 83, which means he should be competitive at a class 4 level.
