Lingfield Tips: Saint Honore
Last two starts on turf can be ignored and she showed promise at this venue back in September when undone by the steady gallop.
Saint Honore was badly beaten on her last two starts (29 & 12.5 lengths) but those came in soft conditions on grass and she can bounce back on a return to the all-weather.
She last raced at Lingfield on the 12 September and although she finished sixth (beaten 4.25 lengths) she was better than the bare form.
As per usual she was held up in rear but the steady gallop (110.6% finishing speed) meant the raced turned into a sprint and the leaders didn’t come back to her.
The race didn’t unfold to her liking but she was still last off the bridle and ran the second fastest closing sectional.
This afternoon she drops in grade to a 0-60 handicap and although she is still a maiden she is probably a bit better than what she’s shown.
