Lingfield Tips: Pastoral Player
Record in class 4 contests is 11 and showed no signs of regressing last season. Ideal conditions.
Pastoral Player might be getting on in years but he’s still a fair performer, especially in the right grade. During his career, he’s raced twice in class 4 company and his record is 11. The first win came on debut back in 2009 but the second was last year at Goodwood.
To be at his best Pastoral Player needs fast ground, 7f and a sharp track – all of which he has got in the 4.50 Lingfield.
Last season he ran several good races accompanied with solid speed figures and if he hasn’t regressed over the winter, he could start with a bang.
