Lingfield Tips: Noverre To Go
Races off a very lenient 51, especially considering he handles the all-weather (6/39) and won off a mark of 60 during the summer on turf.
Having backed Noverre To Go at the end of the turf season I was slightly disappointed by his 7th place finish at Brighton. He was only beaten 4.5 lengths but I expected more after he ran a fast time for the grade over an inadequate 5f at Chepstow the start before.
Horses aged 10 or more aren’t usually a byword for consistency so I’m giving him another chance, especially off his much lower all-weather mark.
Noverre To Go races off an extremely generous mark of 51, especially when you consider he won off 60 on turf in June. It’s not like an artificial surface is an anathema to him either, he is 6/39 on the sand compared to 7/69 on turf.
All told the 2.35 Lingfield is an excellent opportunity for Noverre To Go to win another race.
