Lingfield Tips: Keep Kicking
Two-time course and distance winner and big eye-catcher when he made up a huge amount of ground into a quickening pace.
Keep Kicking was a huge eye-catcher at Lingfield last month and he makes appeal at 7/2 (Bet365) in the 2.00 contest.
Detached in last place he came home with a wet sail to finish only 1.75 lengths behind the winner. He covered the final 2f in a rapid 22.8s but the leaders weren’t slowing down either as the finishing speed was 108.1% of the overall speed.
This afternoon he steps up 4f to 2-miles, his optimum trip and the distance of his last two course wins.
The only concern is the inexperienced Tomas Harrigan onboard but this will be the third time he has ridden Keep Kicking and hopefully he’s built up an understanding of the horse.
