Lingfield Tips: Flight Of Fantasy
Runner-up on both starts and unfortunate to bump into two useful individuals. This looks easier.
Flight Of Fantasy has been unfortunate to bump into a couple of good horses in maidens, finishing runner-up both times and unless First Moon runs a blinder on debut, she should win the 1.10 Lingfield.
Last time out she ran into the impressive Bois de Boulogne, finishing a neck behind the Godolphin horse but 5 lengths clear of the third. Her finishing kick was pedestrian compared to that of the winner but her final 3f sectional was still second best in the race by 0.66s.
In defeat I gave Flight Of Fantasy an adjusted speed rating of 71 and nothing in today’s field has run anything near that fast. She might be the obvious choice but the sensible one too.
