Lingfield Tips: Embankment
Would have won in an extra stride last time but can often lose his race at the start.
We will know our fate early on in the 4.55 Lingfield but if Embankment can break on terms he should win.
Last time out at Kempton he ran a huge race, only going down by a short-head in a higher grade. Yet again, he forfeited several lengths at the start but covered the final 3f in a rapid 34.7s and would have won in another stride.
This afternoon he drops down in grade and my hope is that even if he fluffs the start, they don’t get away from him.
He can capitalise off a career-low mark by winning at 5/2 (Betfred).
