Lingfield Tip: Straight Right
Was 3/3 on the all-weather in France but lost 100% record at Kempton. That was over 6f and should run better returned to a mile.
Gabrial and Arcanada are closely matched on their last meeting and there is precious little to pick between the two, so instead i’m taking a chance with Straight Right.
His form in France is more than useful; he placed in a Group 3 and was unbeaten in three starts on the all-weather. He lost that record when fourth at Kempton at the end of November but that was over an inadequate 6f, whilst most of his winning has been at around a mile.
Returned to his optimum trip at Lingfield he should be seen to better effect and although he has a 3lbs penalty he finished the race at Kempton with plenty of promise.
