Lingfield Tip: Natural Scenery
Ran a good time for the grade at Wolverhampton and was the fastest finisher in the race by 0.51s. Headgear can deliver further improvement.
Saeed bin Suroor is in cracking form on the all-weather, running at a 37% strike rate (20-54) since the start of October.
Natural Scenery was a winner for the yard last time at Wolverhampton and she can overcome an 8lbs rise in the weights and take the 1.55 Lingfield. One of the most lightly raced horses in the line-up, I was impressed by her finishing burst last time out.
Tracking a steady pace, she took a moment to quicken which is probably why the cheek-pieces have been applied but once she hit her stride there was only one winner. Despite having to weave around runners she clocked the fastest closing sectional by 0.51s.
She will need to be alert around Lingfield’s sharper track, especially down in trip but it seems connections have catered for this. Saeed bin Suroor won the race last year with Super Kid and he has another talented 3-year-old to go to war with.
