Lingfield Tip: Krystallite
Jockey misjudged the pace at Wolverhampton where her finishing speed was 97% of her overall speed. Btu still produced a good effort in higher grade and only beaten 2.5 lengths.
Last time we saw Krystallite she was racing in class 4 company and she sowed up well for a long way. Setting a very strong pace, she was soon clear but had nothing left in the home-straight as Kieren O’Neill misjudged the fractions. Her closing 2f speed was 97% of her overall speed; much slower than par and indicative of a jockey misjudgement. It happens.
To her credit she was only beaten 2.5 lengths and earned a big sectional mark up. If she were to win this, it would be off her highest winning mark but she drops into class 6 company and has the handy claim of Theo Ladd on board.
