Lingfield Tip: First Link
Capable of running blistering sectionals but often pulls hard early on. From a low draw she can make her run from nearer the front and that makes the difference.
Regular readers will know i’m a sucker for a fast sectional and with First Link there is a good horse crying to get out. Her strike rate is moderate but she’s has run some rapid sectionals including a 21.89s two starts back in a much higher grade.
The big problem is getting her settled in races but her last two starts have coincided with wide draws and from stall one there is a chance Hayley Turner can bury her in midfield without giving away ground.
If kept handy she has a turn of foot that will beat this field and off a mark of 64 i’m happy to side with the numbers.
