Lingfield Tip: Eagle Creek

Eagle Creek is one of the less exposed runners in the 2.10 Lingfield and is capable of winning a nice race off a mark of 96. Last time out he was always trapped on other’s heels and his jockey had to wait for the cut away at Kempton before making his run. He didn’t get in the clear until too late but made eye-catching progress with the second fastest closing sectional in the race.

Well backed before the off; he must be held in high esteem by his shrewd yard. In defeat at Kempton he earned an impressive sectional adjusted speed rating of 94 and having previously won over course and distance he should go well again.
