Record on the all-weather is 1113 and record after 50+ day break is 1161. Has early pace to burn and main rival weighted up to the eye-balls.
It would be some weight carrying performance if Encore D’Or were to win this handicap carrying 10-9 and connections are obviously warey of this issue with Jonathan Fisher claiming 7lbs. Everything has to fall perfectly right for Encore D’Or to win off this mark and they rarely do in sprints.
A Momentofmadness has finished 1113 in four start on the all-weather and although he was beaten by Encore D’Or on their last meeting I think Lingfied’s sharper track will suit. The 5-year-old is all speed and finished fourth in the Epsom Dash last season.
His record after a break of 50+ days is 1161 and he should run a good race.
