Lingfield: Saaheq
Easy winner 6 days ago and impressive 21.87s closing sectional. Couldn't have done it any easier and 4lbs penalty is negligible for this well handicapped sprinter.
Saaheq carries a 4lbs penalty for his win on Saturday but it was such a bloodless victory he can be considered generously treated. Raasel was a big disappointment but that shouldn’t detract from Saaheq’s win. He was ridden closer to the (steady) early pace and his closing sectional of 21.87s was impressive under hands and heels, even though the overall time was nothing to shout about.

He finished just behind Outrage and Pop Dancer when they last met but re-watching the video, Saaheq was much more hampered than I first thought. He just couldn’t get a run into a quickening pace and that cost him. I don’t think it will happen again.
